Remote Biology & Environmental Science Evaluator (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking experienced biologists or environmental scientists to remotely evaluate work products generated by advanced models. This independent contractor position offers a flexible, self‑managed schedule and competitive hourly compensation.

Key responsibilities

• Review documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks using structured quality rubrics.
• Identify factual inaccuracies, analytical gaps, presentation issues, and overall quality concerns.
• Provide clear, structured, and actionable written feedback to improve model performance.
• Deliver evaluations on a weekly basis and support potential project extensions.

Required profile

• Strong professional expertise in Biology and/or Environmental Science.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or higher) in a relevant field is preferred.
• Native or professional‑level English fluency for accurate evaluation and communication.
• Ability to work independently with a remote, flexible schedule.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
