Senior Manager, Ag Retail Operations & Customer Excellence

About the role

Federated Co‑operatives Limited is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Ag Retail Operations and Customer Excellence across its Co‑op ag retail network. This remote position (preferred in Saskatoon, Regina, Calgary or Winnipeg) combines strategic leadership with hands‑on execution to shape the farmer experience, drive digital adoption and unlock commercial value.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and coaching to a high‑performing team of five direct reports.
• Align cross‑functional teams in Ag Solutions, Energy, Marketing, Finance and People to deliver results.
• Develop and embed sales‑focused culture through training, operational KPIs and cross‑commodity insights.
• Design and execute a holistic farm‑customer strategy, including segmentation and growth road‑maps.
• Own customer experience metrics, using data, research and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with Central Marketing to deliver brand campaigns and manage tradeshow experiences.
• Enable bundled solutions and seamless experiences across sales, marketing, agronomy, digital and operations.
• Lead Digital Ag and Data Insights, promoting adoption of AgZone, CRM and analytics tools.
• Manage Marketing and Digital Ag budgets, overseeing planning, budgeting and quarterly reporting.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in ag‑retail or related agricultural environments.
• Strong track record of driving customer‑centric strategies and digital adoption.
• Ability to influence and collaborate across multiple functional areas.
• Experience managing budgets and delivering measurable performance outcomes.
• Excellent analytical mindset with a focus on data‑driven decision making.
