Reliability Specialist

About the role

Bombardier is seeking a Reliability Specialist to lead maintenance planning, continuous improvement and equipment reliability across its manufacturing sites. The role combines technical expertise with leadership to ensure optimal equipment performance and availability.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate maintenance requirements, including parts, manpower, work orders and documentation.
• Develop and deploy preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Analyze equipment failures, conduct root‑cause analysis and support implementation of corrective solutions.
• Track key performance indicators such as maintenance cost, OEE and strategy effectiveness.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives and support supply‑chain issue resolution.
• Manage critical troubleshooting situations to return equipment to service quickly.
• Represent the maintenance department in asset acquisition processes.

Required profile

• University diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Automated Manufacturing Engineering or a relevant college degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in equipment maintenance.
• Strong ability to synthesize, vulgarize and present complex technical information.
• Proven capability to work under pressure, multitask and meet commitments.
• Excellent teamwork, perseverance and sound judgement.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
