Reinforcing Steel Ironworker (Permanent, Full‑time)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Reinforcing Steel Ironworker to join our construction team on a permanent, full‑time basis. The successful candidate will work on various projects throughout Québec, installing and securing reinforcing steel according to project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Install, tie, and secure reinforcing steel bars and mesh for concrete structures.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints to determine placement and dimensions.
• Cut, bend, and shape steel using hand and power tools.
• Collaborate with site supervisors, concrete workers, and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following occupational health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Registered Apprenticeship certificate in ironworking or a related field.
• 1 to less than 7 months of on‑site experience in reinforcing steel work.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials.
