Registered Nurse (RN) – Part-Time

About the role

The City of Windsor is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Huron Lodge long‑term care team on a part‑time basis. You will work up to 25 hours per week, providing resident‑centered care in a collaborative, shift‑based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and delegate tasks to Personal Support Workers and Registered Practical Nurses in accordance with CNO guidelines.
• Complete the InterRAI assessment process and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor health status, and document changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, residents, and families.
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control protocols.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives and maintain accurate electronic health records.

Required profile

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) as an RN.
• Recent nursing experience (within the last five years).
• Strong clinical assessment, critical‑thinking, and communication abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Electronic Health Records (EHR) proficiency.
• InterRAI assessment experience.
