Registered Nurse – Part‑Time

About the role

North Wellington Health Care is seeking a regular part‑time Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care at Louise Marshall Hospital in Mount Forest. The role follows the College of Nurses of Ontario standards and the organization’s policies.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality nursing care across all hospital areas.
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to clinical protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and assume charge/leadership duties as needed.
• Participate in ongoing education and departmental training activities.

Required profile

• Current Ontario RN Certificate of Competence.
• Current BCLS certification.
• ACLS certification or commitment to obtain within 6 months.
• Maternal‑Child course or relevant clinical experience.
• NRP certification or commitment to obtain within 6 months.
• Commitment to obtain cardiac monitoring, IV start, phlebotomy, and defibrillation competencies within specified timeframes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Willingness to undergo police vulnerable‑sector check and pre‑employment health assessment.
