Registered Nurse – Operating Room & Endoscopy

About the role

Join the fast‑paced Operating Room team at Leduc Community Hospital. The unit supports a wide range of surgical specialties and offers Registered Nurses the chance to develop comprehensive peri‑operative expertise in a supportive, community‑based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide intra‑operative care as a scrub and circulating nurse across multiple surgical services.
• Deliver post‑anesthetic recovery care in accordance with NAPANc standards.
• Assist in endoscopy procedures and ensure safe patient flow.
• Coordinate equipment, supplies, and procedural needs to maintain efficient OR turnover.
• Mentor colleagues, act as a resource, and contribute to quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a valid Alberta practice permit (provisional or full).
• Demonstrated ability to work in a high‑volume, interdisciplinary surgical setting.
• Commitment to patient‑ and family‑centered care and adherence to AHS policies and ORNAC guidelines.
