Regional Manager

About the role

The Regional Manager will lead a portfolio of multifamily residential properties across Ontario, reporting to the Director of Operations. This senior leader is responsible for driving operational excellence, financial performance, and resident satisfaction while ensuring consistent execution of company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations for all properties in the region, ensuring efficiency and adherence to standards.
• Conduct regular property inspections to identify deficiencies and maintain asset quality.
• Coordinate early identification and timely resolution of maintenance and operational issues.
• Implement standardized processes across sites for consistent execution.
• Partner with Asset Management to execute value‑add initiatives such as renovations and repositioning.
• Manage contractor engagements, including scope development, bid review, approval, and oversight of work quality and invoicing.
• Support after‑hours emergency coordination and provide escalation assistance.
• Drive leasing performance to meet occupancy targets and align rental strategies with market conditions.
• Maintain knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Residential Tenancies Act, Human Rights Code, and labour standards.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in multifamily or property management operations.
• Strong financial acumen with a track record of meeting performance targets.
• Ability to develop and coach high‑performing teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of Ontario residential tenancy legislation and related compliance requirements.
