Quality Engineering Analyst – Mississauga

About the role

Infosys is looking for a Quality Engineering Analyst to act as a validation and quality‑assurance expert. You will review the functionality of existing systems, conduct requirement analysis, define test strategies, design test artefacts and lead execution to ensure superior, defect‑free outcomes for our banking and financial services clients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform functional and performance testing of applications and services.
• Define test strategies, design test cases and lead test execution.
• Analyse requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans.
• Provide tuning recommendations and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Travel as required and support multiple locations (Toronto, Mississauga, Calgary).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent, or three years of progressive experience in lieu of each year of education.
• Minimum 4 years of IT experience, including at least 4 years of software testing.
• Authorized to work for any employer in Canada without sponsorship.
• Located within commuting distance of Toronto/Mississauga/Calgary or willing to relocate.

Required skills

• Performance testing tools: LoadRunner Enterprise, Apache JMeter.
• Performance engineering and tuning of SQL queries and JVM.
• Data analysis and visualization.
• Programming languages: Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, C++.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
