Quality Coordinator

About the role

The Quality Coordinator supports CCM Hockey’s global quality team from the Montreal headquarters. The role manages and tracks quality escapes originating from manufacturing sites, 3PL warehouses, and the market, ensuring issues are communicated, investigated, and resolved with key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate intake, documentation, and follow‑up of quality escapes from factories, warehouses, or the field.
• Work closely with the Asia‑based quality team to request investigations and track containment and corrective actions.
• Maintain and update process work instructions and quality documentation related to issue management.
• Create and upkeep control plans, inspection routines, and quality checkpoints based on escape trends.
• Participate in root cause analysis (5 Whys, basic 8D steps) and ensure corrective actions are documented and implemented.
• Perform basic measurement, gauging, and product verification tasks when evaluating reported issues.
• Prepare and update product information documents (form, fit, function) to support quality assessments.
• Communicate with internal teams (R&D, supply chain, customer service) to support investigations and provide status updates.
• Assist in resolving supplier quality issues by collecting data and coordinating feedback.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple quality issues simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Experience with root cause analysis methods such as 5 Whys and 8D.
• Ability to work onsite at the Montreal head office and coordinate with global teams.
