Quality Coordinator – Civil/Structure

About the role

The Quality Coordinator (Civil/Structure) ensures that the Construction Quality Management Plan is applied effectively across the project. This role supports on‑site and off‑site inspection activities, drives continuous improvement, and promotes a culture of quality excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site and off‑site quality inspections and witness testing to verify compliance with project specifications and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP).
• Monitor construction progress and workmanship, identifying and resolving quality issues promptly.
• Oversee testing of materials and structures, including concrete strength tests and soil compaction tests.
• Inspect delivered materials and equipment to confirm conformity with approved submittals and quality standards.
• Ensure all construction activities follow specified ITPs, managing hold and witness points.
• Maintain comprehensive records of inspections, findings, test results, and corrective actions.
• Document and report deviations or non‑conformances, and verify corrective actions are implemented.
• Check certifications, qualifications, and accreditations of workers, subcontractors, and equipment.
• Provide immediate feedback to field teams on quality issues and support swift rectification.

Required profile

• Understanding and application of a Construction Quality Management Plan.
• Familiarity with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Experience documenting non‑conformances and managing corrective actions.
• Ability to verify certifications and qualifications of personnel and equipment.
