QA Lead – Functional & Integration Testing - Insurance

About the role

We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to drive functional, regression, and integration testing for our insurance applications. The role works closely with Agile teams to ensure high‑quality releases and smooth delivery of new features.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in requirements elaboration, sprint planning, release readiness reviews and other Agile ceremonies.
• Design, develop and execute functional test plans and detailed test cases based on product and business requirements.
• Document, log and track defects using JIRA, ensuring clear communication with development and business teams.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts and product owners to clarify requirements and resolve testing issues.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Verify new features and confirm that updates do not negatively impact existing functionality.
• Prepare high‑quality test documentation and present results and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Coordinate demos with business stakeholders and escalate critical issues when necessary.

Required profile

• Strong experience in functional, regression and integration testing within a commercial insurance environment.
• Expertise in test design, test planning, test case creation and defect management.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a focus on edge‑case identification.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
