Python Developer – Build Scalable Applications

About the role

We are seeking a Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain high‑quality software solutions in Montreal. The successful candidate will work on scalable, production‑grade applications and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain robust Python applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices.
• Design and implement scalable, high‑performance systems.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and product teams.
• Integrate user‑facing elements with server‑side logic.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality.
• Implement unit tests and uphold quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience in Python development.
• Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming.
• Good knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication skills.
