Project Manager – Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead maintenance projects in an industrial environment. You will ensure equipment performance, solve technical issues, and drive continuous improvement of maintenance systems while meeting safety and deadline requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs in collaboration with other departments.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage maintenance projects, including resource allocation and schedule control.
• Identify and resolve complex technical problems, optimizing operational efficiency.
• Support maintenance teams with spare‑part availability and component replacement.
• Lead energy‑efficiency and cost‑reduction initiatives through technical projects.
• Ensure compliance with electrical and industrial safety standards.
• Train staff on equipment use, preventive, and corrective maintenance best practices.
• Participate in CAPEX project monitoring and execution.
• Define, track, and analyze KPIs to improve processes and reduce costs.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to optimize maintenance operations.
• Plan and manage shutdown periods to minimize production interruptions.

Required profile

• University degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar industrial role.
• Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and work independently.
• Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
