Detail Assembler – Aircraft Assembly

About the role

We are seeking a Detail Assembler to join our aircraft assembly team in Lunenburg. The role involves assembling, fitting, and inspecting aircraft components to ensure they meet strict engineering specifications. You will work on an assembly line in a noisy environment, handling pre‑fabricated parts and sub‑assemblies.

Key responsibilities

• Complete detailed inspection documentation for each assembly.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine work requirements.
• Assemble and fit pre‑fabricated parts to create sub‑assemblies.
• Install assembled sub‑assemblies onto aircraft structures.
• Inspect assemblies for alignment, symmetry, dimensions, fit, and workmanship quality.
• Inspect aircraft assemblies for adherence to engineering specifications.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation (high school diploma).
• 2–3 years of experience in assembly or a related field.
• Ability to handle loads up to 23 kg and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand‑eye coordination.
• Ability to sit for periods as required.
• Clear criminal record check.
