Project Manager I – Shoring & Foundations

About the role

Hall Shoring and Foundations Ltd. is seeking an experienced Project Manager I to lead complex deep‑foundation and shoring projects from inception through client turnover. This senior technical position combines deep‑foundation expertise with strong project‑management discipline to oversee multi‑disciplinary field teams, contracts, procurement, quality, safety, schedule and cost performance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct and evaluate shoring and foundation projects in line with contract schedules, specifications and budgets.
• Develop and maintain work plans, construction schedules and milestone tracking across multiple concurrent projects.
• Prepare project budget estimates, monitor cost performance and manage change notices, RFIs and design revisions.
• Review contracts, ensure compliance with contractual requirements and manage claims.
• Lead procurement activities, negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers, and issue purchase orders per company procurement guidelines.
• Oversee material purchases including rebar, concrete mixes, casings, drilling fluids and polymers.
• Mentor junior project managers and field supervisors while supporting senior leadership on risk management and client engagement.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing deep‑foundation and shoring projects in the civil construction sector.
• Strong understanding of contract administration, change management and procurement processes.
• Ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and communicate effectively with senior leadership and clients.
