Project Manager – Construction

About the role

Hall Constructors is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction projects from planning through completion. You will ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards while fostering strong team collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Direct project teams to align work with schedule and cost targets, maintaining overall project health.
• Provide leadership, leveraging individual strengths to achieve project goals.
• Identify and manage risks and opportunities to protect schedule and financial performance.
• Lead change management in accordance with the Project Management Manual.
• Oversee health and safety program implementation on site.
• Manage quality control and quality management systems.
• Develop and execute detailed execution/work plans and schedules.
• Handle procurement, negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers, and prepare purchase orders.
• Review and approve subcontractor progress applications, payment certificates, and invoices.
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers on contracts, RFIs, RFQs, and design changes.
• Conduct regular site visits (1‑2 times per week) and support the site supervisor.
• Mentor junior project teams and compile final quality documentation for client turnover.

Required profile

• Eligibility to work in Canada.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• 5‑8+ years of progressive project management experience, preferably in construction.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HCSS and MS Projects.
• Advanced Excel, Word, and MS Teams skills.
• Strong data analysis and cost‑report interpretation abilities.
