Project Manager – Business & Technology Transformation

About the role

Building Ontario Fund is looking for a full‑time Project Manager to lead complex, cross‑functional business and technology transformation initiatives. The role will own the end‑to‑end delivery of projects, from business case development through implementation and transition to operations, ensuring measurable value and sustainable change.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of business, operational, process‑improvement, digital‑transformation and technology‑enabled projects across the organization.
• Partner with business leaders to identify and prioritize opportunities for modernization and efficiency.
• Facilitate requirements gathering, process analysis, solution evaluation, implementation planning and transition to operations.
• Manage cross‑functional project teams that include internal stakeholders, external vendors, consultants and subject‑matter experts.
• Maintain project governance, schedules, budgets, risk registers, issue logs and executive reporting.
• Drive organizational change activities such as stakeholder engagement, communications, training and adoption planning.
• Coordinate implementation of enterprise systems, business applications and corporate‑service initiatives.
• Ensure alignment with organizational priorities, governance standards, risk management practices and operational objectives.
• Identify opportunities to standardize processes, improve controls and enhance information‑management practices.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to meet deliverables, timelines and quality expectations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• PMP certification is a strong asset.
• Minimum three years of experience leading complex, cross‑functional business, operational or technology transformation projects.
• Proven ability to develop business cases, manage procurement activities and oversee external implementation partners.
• Experience with enterprise‑software implementations and digital modernization initiatives.
• Demonstrated skill in managing projects involving multiple business units, senior stakeholders and external vendors.

Required skills

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred).
