Project Coordinator (Construction)

About the role

Hall Constructors is seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator to support its construction projects in Langley. You will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and executing project work plans, schedules, and cost estimates.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical project files, including drawings, submittals, change orders, and purchase orders.
• Track daily project quantities, compile monthly summaries for invoicing, and review subcontractor progress applications.
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers on contracts, RFIs, RFQs, and design changes.
• Prepare meeting minutes, distribute them promptly, and provide technical office support as needed.
• Monitor cost codes, generate daily quantity reports, and track change‑order implications.
• Conduct regular site visits (1‑2 times per week) to liaise with site supervisors and crews.
• Support quality control programs and assist with the corporate Health & Safety initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in construction project coordination or a related field.
• Bachelor of Engineering degree preferred; EIT working toward PEng considered an asset.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret cost reports and data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HCSS software.
• Experience using MS Project for scheduling.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and MS Teams.
• Ability to perform data analysis and cost‑report interpretation.
