Project Administrator

About the role

Air Canada is seeking a Project Administrator to support planning initiatives within the TechOps Planning organization. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with governance standards, while fostering collaboration across planning teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage planning‑related projects, aligning them with objectives, timelines, and priorities.
• Monitor multiple initiatives, maintaining schedules, milestones, dependencies, and action items.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, schedules, decision logs, and status reports.
• Review progress and performance metrics, providing insights to optimize outcomes.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Develop and track comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with planning managers.
• Facilitate resource allocation, resolve conflicts, and ensure optimal utilization.
• Prepare and distribute regular status reports highlighting milestones, risks, and issues.
• Manage risk and issue logs, ensuring timely resolution and escalation.
• Organize project meetings, prepare agendas, capture notes, and follow up on actions.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education; a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Operations Management is an asset.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in project coordination or a related role, preferably in aviation or transportation.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate project records and documentation.
