Production Worker – Brooks, AB

About the role

Join JBS Food Canada’s main processing facility in Brooks, AB as a Production Worker. You’ll work on the plant floor handling raw materials, operating equipment and ensuring product quality in a fast‑paced meat processing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, steel‑toe boots, etc.).
• Work in varied conditions including wet, humid, hot, cold, indoor and outdoor environments.
• Handle animal blood and various parts of butchered animals safely.
• Transport raw materials, finished products and packaging manually or with powered equipment throughout the plant and warehouse.
• Remove filled containers from conveyors and manually pack goods into bags, boxes or other containers.
• Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines or mobile tank trucks.
• Sanitize work areas and equipment to maintain hygiene standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma.
• 1‑6 months of full‑time experience in a physically demanding job, preferably in food or beverage processing.
• Basic English language skills.
