Production Control Coordinator – Overnight Shift

About the role

The Production Control Coordinator works the overnight shift (Thursday‑Monday, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM) to manage workflow across multiple departments in a North America distribution center. Reporting to the Production Control Supervisor, the coordinator ensures that work is released, prioritized, and executed in line with service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate release of work to E‑commerce, Retail, Strategic, Transfers, and Footwear departments.
• Monitor order queues for all workstreams and analyze reports to maintain optimal flow.
• Investigate waving issues and fallout, communicate findings, and follow up for timely resolution.
• Update wave rules based on business needs and verify accuracy.
• Provide shift direction, update shift metrics, and share reports.
• Engage in training, team‑building activities, and personal development initiatives.
• Support ad‑hoc requests from management and internal/external partners.

Required profile

• Experience with Manhattan WMS preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication with business partners.
