Supply Chain Director

About the role

Insight Global is looking for a strategic Supply Chain Director to lead the global supply chain for a client specializing in AI‑powered feed management systems. The role combines high‑level vision with hands‑on execution, ensuring robust processes, optimal supplier relationships, and seamless production across contract manufacturers.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a supply chain vision that supports rapid geographic expansion.
• Develop short‑ and long‑term strategies for sourcing, logistics, and supplier management.
• Partner with the VP of Operations to align supply chain initiatives with corporate goals.
• Establish and maintain processes for supplier approval, RMA management, and inventory control.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and contracts with suppliers and contract manufacturers.
• Oversee purchasing, procurement, inventory policies, and monthly reconciliation.
• Lead and mentor a Supply Chain Analyst and collaborate with engineering, production, finance, and quality teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of progressive supply chain experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven ability to design scalable systems and execute day‑to‑day operations in a fast‑growth environment.
