Procurement Manager – Market Engagement

About the role

The Procurement Manager – Market Engagement will oversee non‑construction spend that supports the operational infrastructure of the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension project. Working within a progressive design‑build (PDB) model, the role collaborates closely with the client, design team and internal stakeholders to identify early‑stage needs and develop transparent cost estimates.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing for indirect categories such as site facilities, security, temporary utilities, IT infrastructure and MRO supplies.
• Conduct market‑engagement exercises, evaluate suppliers and negotiate contracts for project support services.
• Develop and maintain cost‑development models in partnership with the client and design team.
• Ensure compliance with ACCIONA procurement policies, sustainability goals and project budgets.
• Monitor supplier performance, manage risks and drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, preferably within large infrastructure or construction projects.
• Familiarity with indirect spend categories and progressive design‑build environments.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a focus on cost transparency.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
