Procurement Manager

About the role

Fresh Prep is seeking a dynamic Procurement Manager to lead its ingredient sourcing and purchasing function. You will drive strategic sourcing, manage supplier relationships, and ensure seamless alignment with operations, quality, and culinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct leadership, mentoring, and coaching to a team of ~6 Purchasers, fostering high performance and professional growth.
• Oversee end‑to‑end ingredient sourcing and purchasing, ensuring alignment with weekly operational, quality, and culinary requirements.
• Act as the Purchasing Department subject‑matter expert in cross‑functional meetings, collaborating with Category, Culinary, Finance, Operations, and Warehouse teams.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives such as RFP execution, vendor consolidation, supply‑base rationalisation, and offshore sourcing diversification.
• Monitor, track, and report department KPIs related to spend, inventory health, and supplier performance.
• Identify and mitigate procurement risks, troubleshoot supply‑chain disruptions, and present actionable contingency plans to leadership.
• Maintain productive supplier relationships, enforce quality standards, and drive cost‑effective performance improvements.
