About the role

We are seeking a probationary full‑time Educational Assistant to support students at Mother d'Youville School in Beaumont, Alberta. The role begins on 26 August 2026 and focuses on providing care and academic assistance to learners with exceptional abilities and complex medical needs.

Key responsibilities

• Assist teachers in delivering individualized instruction and classroom activities.
• Support students with medical conditions, including monitoring health needs and administering basic care.
• Collaborate with health‑care professionals and school staff to develop and implement accommodation plans.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and health observations.
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, energetic, and patient demeanor.
• Experience working with students who have special needs or medical requirements.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a school team.
• Willingness to undergo recent criminal‑record, vulnerable‑sector and Alberta Children’s Intervention checks.
• Catholic affiliation is an asset but not mandatory.
