About the role
This position provides full‑time, in‑home child care for a family in Grand Forks, BC. You will be responsible for the children’s safety, well‑being, and daily routine while also managing household tasks in the parents’ absence.
Key responsibilities
- Assume full responsibility for the household when parents are away.
- Perform light housekeeping, cleaning, and laundry duties, including washing, ironing, and pressing clothing and linens.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment throughout the home.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
- Supervise, care for, and attend to the emotional well‑being of the children.
- Cook meals as needed and ensure dietary requirements are met.
Required profile
- Flexibility and good judgement.
- Organized, reliable, and strong time‑management skills.
- Patience and honesty.
