Pressure Truck / Hot Oiler Operator – Lloydminster

About the role

Vertex is seeking a safety‑focused Pressure Truck and Hot Oiler Operator for its Lloydminster, AB location. The position offers local, rotational work in a fast‑paced oilfield environment, with competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key responsibilities

• Operate 5K & 10K pressure trucks and hot oilers safely and efficiently.
• Drive equipment in compliance with traffic rules and company policies.
• Participate in safety programs, toolbox talks, FLRA’s, hazard assessments, and pre‑/post‑trip inspections.
• Maintain up‑to‑date training, certifications, and logbooks.
• Collaborate with coworkers, contractors, and customers as a team player.
• Perform lift and height work, including tasks above 6 feet.

Required profile

• Class 1 Driver’s License with a clean commercial abstract.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Hot Oiler Operator.
• Minimum 2 years experience operating 5K & 10K pressure trucks.
• At least 2 years overall oilfield experience, including ELD logbook usage.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, evenings, weekends, and on‑call rotations.
• Ability to lift heavy tools and work at heights.
