About the role

Key responsibilities

• Perform basic kitchen tasks such as peeling, cutting, and assisting with banquet plate‑up.
• Deliver food items to various hotel functions and maintain station opening and closing procedures.
• Follow standardized recipes to ensure consistency and quality.
• Minimize over‑production and food waste to control costs.
• Operate all kitchen equipment safely and adhere to food safety and government regulations.

Required profile

• Passion for culinary arts with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• High school diploma (asset) and prior experience in a commercial kitchen (asset).
• Knowledge of health & safety and WHMIS (asset).
• Availability to work holidays, weekends, overnights and other non‑day shifts.
