PR and Communications Specialist

About the role

The PR and Communications Specialist will shape and amplify the brand narrative for a leading Drone-as-a-Service (DaaS) provider across the United States. Working closely with corporate communications, marketing and business development leaders, the role blends strategic storytelling with hands‑on execution across media, content and digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies to increase visibility in tech, business and trade media.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, analysts, bloggers and influencers in the US market.
• Secure media coverage for product launches, milestones, executive thought leadership and industry insights.
• Write and distribute localized content, media pitches, bylined articles and blog posts.
• Coordinate interviews, press briefings, speaking engagements and media events.
• Create consistent messaging for public‑facing materials across subsidiary brands.
• Support internal communications, marketing campaigns and external conferences/events.
• Develop messaging frameworks, media kits and crisis communication playbooks.
• Prepare talking points, op‑eds, presentations and speeches for leadership.
• Drive brand storytelling across platforms and identify local engagement opportunities for DaaS locations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in public relations, media relations and corporate communications.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams including marketing, product and business development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for creating press materials and executive content.
• Experience managing media outreach, securing coverage and organizing press events.
