Plant Operator – FIFO (2 weeks on/2 weeks off)

About the role

The Diavik Diamond Mine is seeking a Plant Operator to join its underground and surface mining operations. This permanent, full‑time position is based at the Lac de Gras site in Canada and follows a two‑weeks‑on, two‑weeks‑off FIFO schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plant equipment used in diamond extraction and processing.
• Ensure safe and efficient production while adhering to the mine’s safety and sustainability standards.
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance checks, and report any equipment issues.
• Collaborate with the operations team to meet production targets.

Required profile

• Willingness to work a FIFO roster of two weeks on site followed by two weeks off.
• Commitment to safety as the top priority.
• Ability to work in a remote mining environment.
