Physiotherapist – Sports Therapy & Rehabilitation

About the role

Excelsior Physio & Massage Inc. is seeking a qualified physiotherapist to join our sports therapy and rehabilitation centre in Edmonton. You will work directly with athletes and patients to assess, treat, and guide them through recovery programs.

Key responsibilities

• Administer evaluative tests and assess patients’ physical abilities.
• Examine patients, determine appropriate tests and procedures, and develop individualized physiotherapy programs.
• Select suitable exercises, equipment, and manual therapy techniques.
• Collaborate with other health professionals to coordinate care.
• Teach and supervise patients in performing prescribed exercises.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy.
• Licensure by provincial/territorial authorities and successful completion of the Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulatory Boards Examination.
• 1–2 years of experience in sports therapy, rehabilitation or similar settings.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.
• Availability for shift or on‑call work and strong punctuality.
