Phased Array Antenna Lead Systems Engineer

About the role

The company provides full relocation support, including immigration assistance and a relocation bonus upon arrival in Montreal. The role is initially remote while immigration is processed, with a long‑term expectation to work onsite in Montreal. As part of the System Engineering Department, the Phased Array Antenna Lead Engineer will lead and coordinate definition, development, testing and verification of phased‑array sub‑systems.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and maintain requirements for the antenna sub‑system and its lower‑level units.
• Lead development of design architecture and subsystem performance budgets.
• Coordinate a cross‑disciplinary team to converge on a design that meets mission requirements.
• Create and maintain verification matrices and detailed test requirements.
• Develop and track build matrices for all product development hardware.
• Produce the Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT) plan.
• Support test activities from planning through production.
• Review unit‑level and system‑level test data and evaluate non‑compliances.
• Assist with automated data post‑processing and management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with active antenna system designs, beam forming and antenna parameters.
• Background in antenna testing and radiated‑test facilities.
• Knowledge of space and/or ground‑segment antenna applications, specifications and integration.
• Proficiency with Matlab, Simulink and other simulation tools.
