Pharmacist – Community Pharmacy

About the role

Join a locally owned pharmacy in Toronto and play a key role in delivering health, beauty, and convenience services to the community. You will manage daily pharmacy operations while providing professional consultation to customers and healthcare providers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee pharmacy operations, including dispensing medication and maintaining the dispensary.
• Provide counseling on prescriptions, over‑the‑counter and behind‑the‑counter products.
• Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and regulatory requirements, including privacy and Controlled Drugs legislation.
• Maintain accurate records, manage workflow queues, and handle inventory control and stock replenishment.
• Communicate with other health‑care professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Support store image, financial reporting, and incident documentation.

Required profile

• Independent thinker with strong decision‑making abilities.
• Experience planning, coordinating, and coaching pharmacy staff.
• Proven ability to drive business performance and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and commitment to health‑and‑safety procedures.
• Willingness to complete mandatory training and continuing education.
