Pharmacist – Community Pharmacy

About the role

Loblaw Companies Limited is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join its network of community pharmacies across Canada. You will play a key part in delivering safe, accurate medication dispensing and exceptional customer service while supporting the company’s Health & Wellness philosophy.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, dispense and control prescription and over‑the‑counter medications accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain adequate inventory levels to meet patient needs.
• Counsel patients on new and existing medications, providing clear, friendly guidance.
• Participate in public‑health initiatives such as health days and clinics to educate the community.
• Address patient and physician inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Monitor and control pharmacy costs.
• Train and mentor new and existing pharmacy staff, including technicians, interns and students.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a valid Class A Pharmacist licence.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and professional demeanor.
• Leadership and performance‑management experience.
• Ability to develop community‑based marketing strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Healthwatch pharmacy system.
• Experience using KROLL Pharmacy computer system.
• Solid personal computing skills.
