Pharmacist – Community Pharmacy

About the role

Join a locally owned pharmacy to deliver health, beauty and convenience services while keeping the customer at the centre of everything you do. You will manage daily pharmacy operations, provide professional consultations, dispense medication, and support the dispensary’s workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist all customers entering the pharmacy, ensuring privacy and confidentiality.
• Provide counselling on prescriptions, over‑the‑counter and behind‑the‑counter products.
• Maintain accurate dispensing records and comply with federal, provincial and regulatory requirements.
• Control access to the dispensary, manage inventory, review stock levels, and handle expired items.
• Communicate with other health‑care professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Oversee workflow queues, ‘will call’ bins, and ensure proper documentation for controlled substances.
• Maintain a professional pharmacy image, handle store communications, and file incident reports when needed.

Required profile

• Independent decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience planning, coordinating, and coaching pharmacy staff.
• Proven capability to drive business performance and support enterprise programs.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service and professional conduct.
• Adherence to health and safety procedures and completion of mandatory training.

Required skills

• Proficiency with pharmacy software systems.
• Strong personal computing skills for inventory and record management.
