Pharmacist – Community Pharmacy

About the role

Join a locally owned pharmacy to provide health, beauty and convenience services to your community. As the on‑duty pharmacist you will manage daily operations, dispense medication, and offer professional consultation to customers and health‑care providers.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist every customer entering the pharmacy while maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
• Provide counseling on prescriptions, over‑the‑counter and behind‑the‑counter products.
• Ensure accurate dispensing of all prescriptions and compliance with federal, provincial and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with other health‑care professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain records, manage workflow queues, and oversee inventory, including controlled substances reporting.
• Monitor stock levels, remove expired items, and place orders with wholesalers.
• Uphold a professional image of the pharmacy in all work areas and handle incident reporting when needed.

Required profile

• Independent decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience planning, coordinating, and coaching pharmacy staff.
• Strong commitment to exceptional customer service and professionalism.
• Ability to follow health‑ and safety procedures and complete mandatory training.
