Pharmacist – Community Pharmacy

About the role

Join a locally owned pharmacy to deliver health, beauty and convenience services to the community while keeping the customer at the centre of everything you do.

Key responsibilities

• Manage pharmacy operations during the shift, including dispensing medication and providing consultations to customers and health‑care providers.
• Ensure compliance with federal and provincial regulations, privacy requirements, and the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
• Maintain accurate records, workflow queues, and inventory; review stock for expiries and place orders as needed.
• Communicate with other health‑care professionals to coordinate patient care and provide professional services within the expanded scope.
• Uphold the pharmacy’s image by keeping work areas clean, handling incident reports, and following health‑and‑safety procedures.

Required profile

• Independent decision‑making with the ability to plan, coordinate and coach pharmacy colleagues.
• Proven business‑driving attitude and strong customer‑service focus.
• Commitment to health‑and‑safety standards and continuous professional development.

Required skills

• Knowledge of pharmacy systems.
