Pharmacist – Clinical Pharmacy Team

About the role

The Ottawa Hospital is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join its Pharmacy Department. You will provide patient‑centered pharmacy care as part of a multi‑disciplinary team across multiple inpatient specialties and ambulatory clinics.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver clinical pharmacy services to inpatients in medical, surgical, critical‑care and specialty units.
• Provide medication management and counseling in ambulatory clinics such as Thrombosis, Immunodeficiency, Bone Marrow Transplant, Oncology and Nephrology.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacy technicians and other health‑care professionals to optimise patient outcomes.
• Participate in teaching pharmacy students, residents, technicians and assistants.
• Engage in research and continuous‑education activities to advance pharmacy practice.

Required profile

• Registered Pharmacist with appropriate licensure for practice in Ontario.
• Strong commitment to patient safety and quality care.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, multi‑disciplinary environment.
• Passion for teaching, research and professional development.
