Personal Support Worker – Home Support

About the role

The Personal Support Worker will provide compassionate, in‑home care to clients living with Alzheimer’s disease, physical disabilities, or age‑related needs. Working in a non‑smoking, urban environment, you will help clients maintain independence and dignity while ensuring their safety and well‑being.

Key responsibilities

• Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, grooming, and hygiene assistance.
• Support regular exercise such as walking and mobility routines.
• Launder clothing and household linens and perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals tailored to client dietary requirements.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and social interaction.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• Basic security clearance and ability to provide references.
• Physically able to bend, crouch, kneel, lift up to 23 kg, and handle a mix of sitting, standing, and walking tasks.
• Reliability, punctuality, strong interpersonal communication, and a client‑focused attitude.
