People Lead – Human Resources

About the role

The People Lead partners with the Store Manager and leadership team to drive human‑resources initiatives that support compliance, associate engagement, and operational excellence in a Walmart store environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist leadership with recruitment, hiring, staffing, scheduling, attendance, performance management and succession planning.
• Develop, communicate and implement HR practices and action plans aligned with business needs, using data analysis to monitor progress and identify improvements.
• Model Walmart core values, promote a respectful culture, and address associate concerns through open‑door communication.
• Lead adoption of digital HR tools and technology solutions, providing training and support to associates.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders to identify business needs, implement solutions and track results.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethics standards and legal requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum age of 16 years.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all store levels.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical conduct and Walmart’s values.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HR digital platforms and tools.
• Ability to analyze HR data and generate actionable insights.
