Part‑Time Retail Team Lead

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Team Lead to support store operations and drive an exceptional customer experience in our fashion retail environment. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will combine leadership, style sense and hands‑on involvement to keep the floor organized, motivated and sales‑focused.

Key responsibilities

• Support store performance by contributing to sales goals and aligning with company KPIs.
• Assist with day‑to‑day operations including policy compliance, loss prevention, opening/closing routines, cash management, report generation and scheduling support.
• Maintain high standards of merchandising and visual presentation to create a clean, welcoming environment.
• Coach and develop the team through ongoing training and constructive feedback.
• Promote effective communication with the Store Manager to ensure smooth operations and timely execution of priorities.
• Collaborate closely with the management team to align priorities and execute action plans swiftly.
• Model a customer‑first mindset by leading on the sales floor, resolving concerns and upholding service standards.

Required profile

• 6+ months of leadership or supervisory experience in a retail or customer‑focused environment.
• Ability to motivate, support and guide a team toward shared goals.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a passion for fashion and awareness of trends.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast‑paced setting.
• Knowledge of store operations such as scheduling, cash management, merchandising and inventory flow.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 lb (18 kg) and use a step ladder.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS systems.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Familiarity with ATS systems.
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite.
