Part‑time Recruiter – Manufacturing & Retail

About the role

Big League Food Company is seeking a part‑time Recruiter to support its fast‑growing manufacturing and retail operations. You will own the full recruitment cycle, helping to build a reliable workforce for a portfolio of well‑known food and beverage brands.

Key responsibilities

• Promote job openings on social media and external job boards to attract candidates.
• Partner with hiring managers to craft clear job postings and descriptions.
• Use internal HR systems to post jobs, screen resumes, schedule interviews, and manage the candidate pipeline.
• Source and engage candidates through creative channels.
• Conduct interviews, evaluate applicants, and negotiate compensation packages.
• Generate offers or contracts and serve as the main point of contact for candidates and hiring managers.
• Perform other related recruitment duties as needed.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience as a corporate recruiter handling professional‑level positions.
• Strong knowledge of full‑life‑cycle recruiting and talent‑acquisition best practices.
• Familiarity with employment legislation and confidentiality requirements.
• Highly organized, able to multitask, prioritize and meet tight deadlines.
• Adaptable to a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada.
