Part-Time Weekday Opening Sales Assistant (6:30am-2:30pm)

About the role

COBS Bread is looking for an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join the Victoria bakery team for weekday opening shifts. You will be the first friendly face for customers, helping them enjoy fresh baked goods while learning the basics of bakery production.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming, high‑quality customer experience during opening hours.
• Merchandise products and support in‑store marketing campaigns.
• Maintain a clean and organized bakery environment.
• Assist with basic baking and production tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Early‑riser who can work independently or as part of a small team.
• Positive attitude, good organizational skills, and pride in community service.
• Willingness to learn bakery processes and customer service standards.

Required skills

• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 22 kg and perform repetitive hand motions.
• Basic numeracy for handling cash transactions.
