Part-Time Warehouse Worker - Main Warehouse

About the role

Saputo, a top 10 global dairy processor, is hiring a part-time worker for its main warehouse in Edmonton, Alberta. Reporting to the Supervisor, the role covers order picking, loading and unloading, and general warehouse duties, working closely with production, quality and warehouse teams. The schedule is variable, with AM and PM shifts on weekdays and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and assemble orders accurately for shipment
• Load and unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently
• Receive incoming products and store them in designated areas
• Inspect freight for accuracy and report damage or discrepancies
• Identify and dispose of damaged or leaking products
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and Power Jack
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic corrective actions
• Maintain facility cleanliness, keep cleaning logs updated daily, record shift data and support inventory tracking
• Assist with unplanned tasks and other duties as assigned

Required profile

• Valid forklift certification with hands-on experience operating a High Lift, Dock Stocker and Power Jack
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs and work in cooler environments
• Experience in a food or dairy environment (an asset)
• Detail-oriented, safety-conscious and comfortable in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Forklift operation (High Lift, Dock Stocker, Power Jack)
• Comfort with SAP, Maestro, RF scanners and voice pick technology
• Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills
