Part Time Room Attendant

About the role

The Novotel Toronto is seeking a friendly and reliable Part Time Room Attendant to join its housekeeping team. You will be responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms and bathrooms, ensuring each space meets the hotel’s high standards while delivering a positive guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and prepare rooms for cleaning, making beds according to hotel standards.
• Replenish guestroom and bathroom supplies.
• Deliver and retrieve loaned items such as irons and ironing boards.
• Perform rotation cleaning duties (e.g., steam‑clean carpets, deep cleaning) as required.
• Maintain work area and equipment to hotel standards.
• Respond to guest calls, requests, and complaints in the assigned area.
• Achieve and exceed guest satisfaction targets.
• Complete any additional duties assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Required profile

• Ability to move, lift, and carry objects up to 25 lb unaided and heavier items with assistance.
• Capability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart on uneven surfaces.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, kneel, or sit for an entire shift and perform bending, twisting, and stooping.
• Fine motor skills for handling objects of varying size and weight.
• Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.
