Part-Time High School Math Teacher

About the role

Oxford Learning Bayview Woods is seeking enthusiastic part‑time High School Math Teachers to work with students in grades 9‑12. You will deliver pre‑planned lessons, support up to three learners at a time, and help them build confidence in mathematics.

Key responsibilities

• Teach up to three students simultaneously, both in‑person and online.
• Follow Oxford Learning’s proprietary teaching methodologies.
• Complete post‑lesson notes and daily student communication updates.
• Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor and engage students with positive reinforcement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field (or fourth‑year university student with tutoring experience).
• Strong knowledge of the Grades 9‑12 math curriculum, including algebra, trigonometry, calculus and vectors.
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
• Reliability for evening (4 pm‑8 pm) and Saturday (10 am‑3 pm) shifts, with a preferred commitment through June 2027.
• Ability to obtain mandatory vulnerable sector screening.

Required skills
