Part-Time Elementary & High School Teacher/Tutor

About the role

Oxford Learning Bayview Woods is seeking enthusiastic part‑time teacher‑tutors to work with elementary and high‑school students during the 2026‑27 school year. The role focuses on delivering pre‑planned lessons across a range of subjects while fostering confidence and a love of learning.

Key responsibilities

• Teach up to three elementary students or up to two high‑school students per session, covering subjects such as reading, writing, math, French, calculus, physics, chemistry, biology and English.
• Follow Oxford Learning’s proprietary curriculum and teaching methodology.
• Provide daily communication updates to students and parents and complete monthly progress reports.
• Create a fun, supportive learning environment that encourages confidence and engagement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in a relevant field (or third‑year university student with tutoring experience).
• Availability for after‑school and evening hours (3 pm‑8 pm) through the 2026‑27 school year.
• Strong written and oral English communication skills; ability to teach French is highly desired.
• Knowledge of K‑12 curriculum and experience tutoring at that level.
