About the role
We are looking for a reliable part‑time bookkeeper to support the financial operations of a local Winnipeg newspaper. The position offers flexible hours and can be performed entirely remotely, making it ideal for candidates seeking a balanced work schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and update all financial records accurately.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
- Manage customer billing, invoicing, and track incoming payments.
- Prepare journal entries for expenses and other accounting items.
Required profile
- Previous bookkeeping experience.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with SAGE accounting software.
- Ability to work independently and stay organized.
