Operations Manager – Aviation

About the role

Executive Aviation is seeking an Operations Manager to lead daily operational activities at Victoria Airport (YYJ). Reporting to the Station Manager, you will ensure safety, security, and efficient facility utilization while driving customer and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage relationships with customers, partners, airport authorities, and regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance with local agreements and standards.
• Implement and continuously improve processes for guest and aircraft handling, both during regular and irregular operations.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators, gate allocations, and iFIDS displays to guarantee on‑time performance.
• Support check‑in teams with queue management, passenger de‑escalation, and induction belt operations.
• Develop and maintain contingency plans, emergency response procedures, and IROP (Irregular Operations) protocols.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and collaborate with local leadership to implement solutions.
• Recommend staffing levels based on seasonality, load factors, flight schedules, and weather considerations.
